ZTE in San Diego, California - Over Heated/No Battery Life

Ever since the first day I purchased my ZTE phone I have had nothing but grief using it. When using the handset the ear piece gets so hot I have to continue with speaker mode. Battery will not hold a charge, every time I disconnect the charger my phone goes from 100% down to 89% within minutes. If I don't use my phone but a couple time in a day and hours later in the day I go to use it the phone is OFF, because the battery is DEAD.(It shouldn't be). This is the second one I have purchased, I will not buy another, because the first one was giving me similar troubles with speaking and hearing.

ZTE Worst Phone and customer service

ZTE Warp phone is the worst phone and I had used 'n' number of other makes but not like ZTE. The most important their customer service is most worse than phones. The touch screen suddenly not responding and I reached to customer service. They ask me to send phone but told me need to pay the shipping charges myself and also not willing to provide any standby phone. I have arranged myself temporarily phone and sent phone to ZTE service center. They acknowledged phone received by service center and asked me check the status using RMA. It shows 3-5 days estimated delivery but after 10 days no response or update. I have reached email support team and they also don’t know the actual status other than stale website what shows. After sending 20 to 30 emails they escalated but still no update. Nearly more than 20 days and email support team not able to provide any status. Then thought to reach ZTE customer service and surprised his update. My existing phone not able to repair and willing to provide different upgraded one and waiting for my approval. I am not sure why email support team doesn’t know. I approved and also clearly asked was phone unlocked one, customer support mentioned unlocked version and will reach by 3 to 5 days. I waited more 4 days and called again but they haven't shipped and told me going to escalate. At last I received phone but not unlocked one. When I am trying to activate/swap with my existing network service provider, says phone is due with existing service provider and not able to register. This complete process took more than 1 month and *** people sent me dummy phone. I reached again customer service and it was escalated to complain department. I think spoke to David from complaint department and his response was interesting, he says previous customer support executive miss understood when I ask unlocked he thought phone pattern unlocked and he doesnt know network unlocked phone. So ZTE support team doesn't know what means by unlocked phone? and also told they don't have any unlocked phones and ask me to reach service provider. How come I can ask to unlock to network provider which I don’t have any relationship/service with them. He doesn't have any answer and ZTE not able to provide any resolution with my issue. I requested him to transfer supervisor but he says no supervisor or manager and he is only whole responsible ZTE company. I requested same thing to through email but not willing to send email. I opened for them all options to resolve issue like refund, any unlocked phone or repair back me my old phone. This is the way ZTE treats to customers and not able to resolve the issue which has warranty. I will never buy any ZTE device in life.

Zte Warp Elite Cell Phone Review

Phone will not hold charge for more than an hour, it gets hot when charging and the percentage decreases. The screen blacks out, apps freeze all of the time. I have complained several times. I also do not think that I should have to pay to send the phone to warranty and be without a phone for 10 days.
